Totalserve contributes the Cyprus Tax Chapter on the 14th Edition of the ICLG Corporate Tax 2018

Totalserve Management Limited has contributed the Cyprus Tax Chapter on the prestigious 14th Edition of The International Comparative Legal Guide (ICLG) - Corporate Tax 2018.

This edition has been prepared by Petros Rialas (Director and Head of the International Tax Planning Department) and Marios Yenagrites (Senior tax consultant) and includes details and updates on the Cyprus tax system, the Cyprus double tax treaty network, related developments as well as on the implementation of various international guidelines like BEPS.

Legal Entity Identifier (LEI) code – Do you need it?

The LEI is a 20-digit code based on the ISO 17442 and refers to a unique identification given to legal entities participating in financial transactions in the stock exchange. In simple words, the publicly available LEI data pool can be regarded as a global directory, which greatly enhances transparency in the global marketplace. Temporary residence and employment permits for non-E.U. nationals

For the employment of a non-EU citizen in Cyprus, a temporary residence and employment permit is necessary. Applicant can apply and justify his stay based on various categories. The various criteria that companies must meet in order to benefit from this policy, the categories of staff and the maximum number of third country nationals who can be employed in each category can be explained and clarified by our team.
