Following a positive fourth review of the Cyprus economy by Troika, the Eurogroup approved the release of €600 million to Cyprus, the fifth tranche of the bailout package.
In a statement, the Eurogroup praised Cyprus for diligently implementing the agreed rescue plan and for the improving economic indicators. At the same time, it is also urging Cyprus to remain vigilant as the road ahead remains treacherous.
